One eskimO Music Monday Review

I was recently given the opportunity to review One
eskimO's self-titled debut album thanks to the One2One
Network. One eskimO is a critically-acclaimed English band fronted by singer-songwriter Kristian Leontiou and includes musicians Pete Rinaldi (guitar), Jamie Sefton (bass, horns) and Adam Falkner (drums). Their song 'Kandi' is currently the #1 adult alternative song and is the most played song on all adult rock radio 4 weeks and counting.
Billboard Magazine called One eskimO's self-titled debut album (available in stores now) "...catchy, ambient pop." and Los Angeles Times Magazine hails the song "Kandi" “a beautiful, aspirational track.” I would have to agree with Billboard Magazine. The track is easy on the ears and does have a bit of an ethereal quality. Although this isn't the type of music I usually gravitate to, I have to say it did include a nice combination of smooth vocals and quirky little beats that was rather enjoyable. All in all a good CD to listen to while on your way to work or relaxing on the porch on a Sunday afternoon. One eskimO recently appeared on The Ellen Show and after having listened to their self-titled debut, I'm quite sure their future will be a very bright one. My favorite tracks on the CD were 'Balloons' and 'Amazing'. If you'd like to sample One eskimO's music for yourself, head on over to Twitter and download the track 'Astronauts' for FREE! You can also check them out on Facebook or YouTube, or download the deluxe edition of the album on iTunes.
